# The Generic scene

The 'Generic' scene is set by default when you open the popup from the Project Page. The generic scene has no further options once selected.

The choice of the 'Generic' scene must be made every time you want to create a scene that does not contain the characteristics of the other scenes (Tale, Game and Timed View).

In the generic scene there are no game dynamics, there are no layouts for texts and images. There are no restrictions: in the generic scene you can insert everything you want.

It can become a navigation menu, a settings screen of your app, a text screen… You can insert videos, sounds and images, and links to web pages. To discover all the potential of the generic scene, look at our demos and explore the guide in the Editor section.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://info-176.gitbook.io/zencreate/the-project-page-where-it-all-begins.../the-generic-scene.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
